is the second major role Lohan has lost this year. In April, she was dropped from The Other Side.
Born Taylor Alison Swift in December, 1989 in Reading, Pennsylvania, this rising American county music star now lives with her parents in Hendersonville, TN. She cites early influences on her life and music as her grandmother, who was an opera singer, and LeAnn Rimes, another country music star. While her grandmother was a professional opera singer, Swift's taste in music seemed to continue to head toward country music instead of opera, and she quickly developed a love for Patsy Cline and Dolly Parton. So, it was natural when she started writing and singing her own songs at the age of 10, her music gravitated toward country and began her love with Grand Auditorium guitars that are made of koa wood.

She began to perform around the town she lived in, Wyomissing, singing at all types of contests, festivals, and even taping her own songs at a local studio. By age 11, she had already taken her first trip to Nashville, handing out tapes and trying to land a record deal. But, it wasn't until age 13 when she was finally signed to a record label. And, even though she had been trying to get a record deal for several years, she walked away from this first one because it "wasn't where I wanted to be". She then began to play at Nashville's premier songwriter's cafe, The Bluebird Café, where Scott Brochetta of Big Machine Records found her.

Her very first single, "Tim McGraw", released in the summer of 2006, followed by her self-titled CD. Contrary to most new artists, Swift either wrote or co-wrote all of the songs on her first album, which found it's debut spot at number 19 on the Billboard charts. After it's debut, it sold more than 61,000 copies in the first week and swiftly worked it's way up to number 1 on the Billboard country charts. Since this wonderful feat, her debut album has topped the country album charts and sold over 2 million copies. Her first single, "Tim McGraw" hit #6 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts and she even set a record on CMT for the video to the song, which lasted a whopping 30 weeks at the number one spot. She has also passed the 20 million mark for music downloads and streams on MySpace and is ranked at #15 for the most visits to her MySpace for all the different genres of music, and is the top ranked artist on MySpace right now. The phenomenial success of her first single landed her a performance at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2007, where she sang the song, "Tim McGraw", to the country singer who was in the audience. Since then, she has become an opening act for both Tim and his wife, Faith Hill. She has also opened for George Strait, Rascal Flatts, and Brad Paisley.
The obvious winner: Taylor Swift, whose self-titled debut has sold 3 million copies and is coming off a “Rolling Stone” cover and big wins at the CMT Music Awards.

She thanked her mom for giving up sleeping in her own bed to snooze on rental cars and in airplanes on the road with her musical 16-year-old daughter. Sweet.

Lohan has since served two stints in jail - the latest being a 10-hour stay Friday - and also spent time in a court-ordered lockdown rehab. The producers are now planning to move on from Lohan and have approached Swift for the role.
Taylor Swift, who from her songs seems to have had a lot of experience with love and dating, has this advice, “I tell my friends who are dating guys who are playing games to play games too. You shouldn’t start out playing games, but if he doesn’t call you for two days, just ‘forget’ to call him for two days. You just didn’t have time to call because he didn’t have time to think about your feelings. You have to outplay the player.””
Taylor Swift is a country music singer-songwriter from Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. At an age when most teenagers are only beginning to find their identity and lay plans for the future, there has never been much doubt in Taylor's mind about her calling. Inspired by her maternal grandmother, a professional opera singer, Taylor took up singing early in life.

And Taylor looked beautiful in her full white gown with golden sparkles that highlighted her blond tresses.

Currently, Taylor has been dealing with how hard it is to trust men after her previous hard breakups, including that with JoBro Joe. Taylor is on the prowl for someone “nice,” and doesn’t care what he does for a living. She said, “I just want to date a nice person, even if he’s a waiter in London,” she testified. “I don’t have a rule against dating celebrities, my parents and management have never put me in a cage to stop me making bad decisions.
Taylor Swift"It appears the romantic comedy may finally be off the table for Lindsay Lohan. The producers had actually talked to Taylor Swift's agent a few months back about replacing Lindsay, but Taylor was in the middle of her tour," dailystar.co.uk quoted a source as saying.

"Now that Lindsay can't conquer her troubles, they're taking the offer back to Taylor," the source said.
At the age of ten she began to perform around her hometown, singing at karaoke contests, festivals, and fairs. When she was eleven she sang the national anthem before a Philadelphia 76ers game. By the time she was 12, she had picked up the guitar and began practicing four hours each day, until her fingers started to bleed. To pursue her career in country music, Swift and her family moved near Nashville, Tennessee when she was 13. A showcase at the Nashville's Bluebird Cafe caught the attention of music-industry veteran Scott Borchetta, who had plans to create a new label and decided Swift was one of the first acts he wanted to sign.

In 2006, she had her first hit at the young age of 16, called "Tim McGraw", about a summer love. Since then, she has risen to fame as a successful teenage star and is also an Internet sensation.
